Title: Advice for routine for a 5 month old
Post by: Caleb4love on December 29, 2005, 18:37:36 pm
My son is 5 months old and we really have not set a routine for him, and it shows in his sleeping at night. He still wakes up every 2 hours, but some nights he does good and only wakes up to get feed maybe twice, one night he slept for 7 hours, but there is not consistancey with his sleep patterns at night. He is breast feed and we are just starting to try and give him cereal. Any ideas please?[/b]

hi,

i'm going to pop this over to the EASY forum for you, so you can get advice on setting up a routine for him.  you might also want to check out sample routines that are posted there.   :D

although you don't have a set routine can you give me an idea of what a typical day is like - maybe tell me what the last few days were (amounts of naps, how many day feeds and how good a feed lo takes, how long awake for each cycle of EASY etc) this way i have a starting point to help you get things sorted.  when you do night feeds for wakings does lo take a full feed or just enough to soothe himself back to sleep?
