I am certainly no pro at pb (not at that age yet) but my regular ped said pb can be tried after 12 months. Since your lo did not have any reaction then I think it would be fine. Interestingly, my ped allergist specialist said they're doing a study (I think he said in the UK) on pb, there's a theory that allergiess are higher because it's an item that we don't give from a young age and that allergies would be lower if we gave it up front with the intro of solids, he also said we have a higher allergy rate here and US than in other countries and that the roasted peanuts cause higher allergies than reg peanuts. With this said he does not suggest giving it younger, he's just telling me what info he knows.
