marisa's mom HUGS sweetie, I know how it feels and IT SUCKS!! You are gettign great advice so far. It does sound a bit like SA to me, in which case I would suggest Stacy's chair method, its what worked best for us.
Also, when this is the prob they do get overtired FAST and it spirals so I would suggest some 'catch up' sleep in the stroller...just to give her body a rest and then she can get back on track!

Hoep things get better soon!

Thanks guys. I actually have sort of tried that chair thing before - well not with a chair but I just sit on the floor with my back to the wall where she can see me but not reach me, etc. She has always started out thinking it's funny and then just gets mad - do I keep trying? WI/WO has NEVER worked for us and I frankly wouldnt' try it again...

After the crib transfer before she ended up sleeping 2.5 hours until 2:30. It's 7pm now and she doesnt' seem sleepy at all - hence part of the problem lately - why is she so wired and playful despite the long nap and lots of physical activity?

WI/WO always just turns into her being overtired and screaming and about to puke - even if just left for 5 seconds and right back - confuses and angers her more, same as PU/PD always used to. Happy then made is more when I've tried the chair type thing but can always try that again. But tonight went really well. I decided to move her bath to pre-bedtime (has been in the morning for a long time now) and used this Bedtime Bath and lotion stuff. She still seemed somewhat hyper in bath and getting changed but was yawning too and successfully went to bed at 8pm with no drama. It's 1:10 now and she sounds restless but we'll see what happens.

I have heard that with the puking but Marisa had bad reflux as a baby and puking has very negative associations with it. And if she does have any SA I don't want to go there.

Anyway, she slept from 8pm till 6:20, so definitely an improvement. We'll see how nap goes today. I fell asleep at 11 but woke at 1 when she cried for 5 seconds (literally) and then was awake and hungry so had a bite to eat and back to sleep around 1:30.

Definitely hoping it continues. She fell asleep without drama for her nap at 11:30. Am hoping she gets at least 2 hours as we have a busy/fun afternoon planned with family (including her cousin only one month younger). Her teeth are also definitely a factor.

I have one Annabel Karmel book - the First Meals one, so I'll look in there. Also, Marisa loves dry Cheerios and dry Golden Grahams - but not in milk so much. I don't want to jinx it but she's been eating a bit better. Nuggets are out because they apparently hurt her mouth too much to chew, but she LOVES that soft shredded chicken I was saying in the other thread and this morning we were out at a diner for breakfast and she grabbed at my french toast and eggs. Now she only had a tiny bite of each, but it was AWESOME that she even tried and she wasn't really hungry so I didn't expect more. LOL with Kaleb though!

OK, fingers crossed, it's been just over 1.5 hours now and all is still quiet. I've ran (treadmill) and showered so at least that's good!

So she slept 2 hours on the dot yesterday, which was good. So she was up at 1:30 and then we were at my SIL's from 3-7:30 where she chased the dog, climbed the stairs (many times), played with her cousin and her toys and just kept going. She slept in the car on way home from 7:50-8:30 and then back to sleep in crib a little after 9 but she woke crying for a few minutes at 10:30 and then at 5:40 for the day so definitely overtired. Hard to fix right now during the holidays and we have another busy day planned so will see if she will take an early nap around 9:30 for as long as she can and then she can have another car nap around 3pm on the way out to friend's an hour away (where she can play with 2.5 year old twins and their toys). Will just have to muddle through I guess and work on getting her caught up and back on track next week...
