Claire walks on her tiptoes also.  Funny.

I also love the strange food trends.  Today she refused the homeade pizza dad made her but ate broccoli and peas! Tomorrow I am sure broccoli will be out and cherrios in.  Next week there will be nothing had but bananas.   ::)

Tyler walks on his tippy toes too!!!

Hysterically laughing in his car seat.  I have no idea at what.

Dancing and bobbing his head to anything.  Even the sounds of a blender.

Hysterically laughing and talking in his room after his nap.

Kissing with a loud MWUAH sound.

I could go on and on.

We all have the same toddler!  Claire has been doing the MAWUAH with her kisses, even when she blows them.   :-*
This thread is making me all sappy!  Monday nights I have class and DH puts her to bed.  :(  Tuesday mornings are my favorite!

I love getting squashes!  Sean hasn't figured out kissing yet, he just comes and squashes his big open mouth on my face ;D

Having meals together and watching him try to figure out the spoon.

He will bring a book to me, then turn his body around so I can pick him up in my lap.

Watching him spin around until he is dizzy.

Just about everything!

If you're checking around...(come to think of it I should have posted it here)....In the photo gallery I just posted "what a spirited child can do in 3 mins or less"....the pic says it all...

I went to let the dog out and LITERALLY in a couple mins he managed to use half a tub of peneten to "shave"....DH is completely follically challenged and when he shaves...it's from neck to neck if you get what I mean...so DS tries to copy....which is usually cute...except when it's done with Peneten.....YUCK.

I love when DS gives me a really GOOD laugh at the end of a really bad day....

(and yes gals...I did laugh...it was that or cry...!)

This is a fun thread. Let's see:

- He comes to me, raises his hands and says: "Pick it up!"

And one of my favorites. We were visiting my parents, and I was putting him down to sleep. Since we were in a strange for him place, I stayed with him until he fell alseep. He was almost gone, I was just laying down, relaxed. Suddenly, out of blue, he jumped up and went "Pop goes the weasel".   ;D

I could go on, but will stop here. :)

Sandra, that is hillarious, I would have jumped out of my skin! ;D

I like it when I put Jacob down for the night and he says "suss suss mummy, pat pat." Remembering when I used to shh/pat him.
I also love it when he does this to me or his bunny.

He laid down on the floor yesterday and said "Baby" . I asked him if he woudl still like to be a baby "Yes!" he said,
"Did you enjoy being a baby?"
"Yes!" he replied :-*

Freya's ability to find extreme pleasure in the simplest things... a bus ride, walking thru a tunnel/under a bridge, seeing what the weather is doing (lots of opportunities for this in the UK at present - boo!), spotting landmarks.

She's learned the concept of 'behind' so we get lots of "where's the sun gone? Oooh, it's hiding behind a cloud!", or "where's the Spinnaker Tower gone? (Any other Pompey ladies out there?) Ooh, it's hiding behind the buildings!".

Oh to be 2 again! I've had to explain how babies are made to my 7 year old step-daughter today - she told me that sex is rude :-\ :'(. How easily they learn the wrong things from adult TV programmes and unhelpful info from those around them - such a responsibility!

Wilf always says that things are hiding beneath things - 'plane hideink neath clouds' - so cute!

Wilf does the same as Charlie and refers to everyone as either man or lady 'hello man' 'funk uoo lady'. It was very funny when we went on the train the other day, we had a running commentry of what was whizzing past the window and then a man sitting across from us fell asleep, well he was asleep until Wilf piped up with 'wake up man'.

He does soooo many cute things!!!!! I love it when he tries to pick me up ;D Backing up on to my lap for a story. 'Niffing' flowers, which is basically blowing on them. The kisses, the hugs and I love it when he has a shy moment and buries his head into my neck - he has the softest hair so this is just gorgeous :D :D :D

Also his body is so cute, when he's just come out of the bath and he's all softy I just want to squish him all over ;D But then he farts or makes a 'bottom noise' and we quickly put a nappy on him just in case a poo falls out - no clue about all that yet ::) ;D

Where do they get this stuff?

Well, for dsd it's because she watches lots of adult TV with her mum, all the soaps, and post watershed things like 'Sex in the City' and 'Footballers Wives' which of course she doesn't understand, but still takes it all in - I guess she either can't ask her mum the questions, or hasn't had reasonable answers, 'coz when she stays with us she always asks me to explain this stuff!

I guess it's good preparation for when the younger two start asking such things - I just think it's sad that she's exposed to it at all! Her mum actually criticised dh when he picked her up at the weekend for us not allowing dsd to watch any TV when she stays - wtf? I mean, not only is it not true, we just limit it to age appropriate stuff, but also what a thing to complain about!!! Like the time she complained that we didn't give dsd enough sweets during her stays - again wtf? On both occasions, dh's retort about trying to look after her health and wellbeing was met with a defensive "don't you think I know what's best for my daughter?" - we can't win, don't bother trying anymore!

Anyway, have gone off-topic - sorry! This thread is a lovely warm and fuzzy place to enjoy our toddlers before all the complex growing up stuff begins! Keep it going!

Paul dances every time he hears any kind of noise, being it the radio playing a song or the washing mashine during the spin cycle! LOL  ;D ;D ;D He starts bouncing up and down and moving his head either up and down or side to side. It's the cutest thing I've seen, I swear!

When we're reading a book before bed (reading as in showing him the pictures), he takes my finger to point at the pics he likes, eg. the bee or a cow, because he likes the sounds they make (by me  ::))

Also, when I'm on the phone, he literally  harrasses me to give him the phone to talk to whoever is on the othe line. Then, when he gets it, he takes it and walks off, listening all the time to what they're telling him. Sometimes he would chat away, but most of the time he just listens and looks like a little man on a serious call  ;D ;D. Last week, when DH was away, the two times he called, Paul had to talk to him as well, of course. And he got so excited at hearing his daddy, that he only laughed the whole time, really happy to hear him  ;D . It melted my heart.

Ok, I'll stop now.

This is so wonderful!  I can't get enough, all the posts are making me smile!!!  ;D

My LO has somewhat recently learned about putting things back.  So now BACK is a very big thing for us.  If I catch him pulling something from my night stand he turns  heading for the nightstand as fast as his little legs will let him and says BACK, BACK, BACK.  He will also bring me the remote controls my DH has left out from the night before and says BACK? BACK!

One of my favorites though is that he says STUCK, STUCK, when he gets stuck, foot stuck in crib rails, falls down on toys and gets stuck, can't get up, whatever.  I was in the kitchen and suddenly I hear, STUCK, STUCK, STUCK.  I find him in the bathroom, he had climbed up on his little stool and couldn't get down, too funny!

And of course, all the open mouth wet kisses!  Sometimes he'll plant one on me and just sit there for a minute, yummy!  I have also caught him kissing the "baby in the mirror"!   ::)

LOVE IT!  I can't wait to read more ladie, absolutely wonderful!!!

I love it that Mummy kissing things better is a cure all and that he asks for it - I did draw the line the other day when he bit his tongue and wanted me to kiss it better ;D A kiss on the lips was a half way house that we both agreed to!
