How does easy look now? Is it any better love? Or just different?

Ok so here's our approx day

5.30-6am wake
6.45am bottle
8am bfast weetabix or fruit and cereal type stuff
9.30am nap. Now usually the boys will sleep about 1hr 20-30mins sometimes I have to spend 10mins or so resetting one or other of them
11am bottle
1.30pm nap - this nap is more hit and miss and prob hasn't been helped by us going out and about in the afternoons. Today j refused to go down until 2pm and then woke crying after 40mins
2.30-3pm bottle
4.30pm solids of some sort. More recently I've stuck to baby porridge to try and not push too many foods on them
6.15 (or nearer 6 if dh home) bedtime bottle and bed aiming to be asleep between 6.30 and 7pm

Your easy looks great Laura. It's a long time between wake up and first nap but from what I remember you can't nap the boys until you've done the school run with o... Am I right with this?
I think with the second nap you are right, it's a touch under tired, hence the nap refusal and a shorter nap. Again, am I right in thinking you need it this early so that you can do the school run again? You can't push it to 2pm?
If you are bound into these nap times because of something that's out of your control like the school run then what you are achieving with them is amazing and it's the best you're going to get for now. But it will only be this way for a few more months then you can start transitioning towards one very small nap (45 mins) and one longer nap (2hrs)... And then to just one long (3hrs) late morning/early afternoon nap....
Sending hugs and strength
X

Hugs Hun, I agree with UB ;)

What's your ideal nap to shorten longer term, morning or arvo?

I guess I'd shorten the pm nap simply because I can't rely on a good nap so I'd have to stick with a good first nap. However I'm more likely to just go cold turkey to one nap. We ended up doing that with o cos no matter how short the am nap was he always refused a pm nap.

What age was O when you transitioned to one nap? Sounds like you're happier going with a longer am nap but know it's not your only option as once you drop a bottle feed and put it right before the pm nap they can tolerate a longer pm nap much better (that's wgat I found with my two anyway).... Just to give you options..
How was your night???
