9 month old has no interest in finger foods

i put toast/bananas/breadsticks etc on the highchair, but my dd will not touch them - occasionally she picks up pushs it aside but won't put it inot her mouth.  I'm worried that she will only continue eating from me feeding her with spoon.

any suggestions?

Not sure if you will find this helpful but ds #1 wasn't really interested in finger food until he was 12 months old.  We just kept offering while we were feeding him with the spoon.  I didn't really worry about it cause I figured evetually he would do it and he did.

My DD still lets me feed her from a spoon and wasn't that interested in fingerfood until 10/11months.
