When do they STOP throwing the cup???

Aggghhhhhh!  The cup drives me crazy!  My lo is almost 14 months, and STILL throws his cup!  He has been drinking from a straw sippy cup since he was about 7 months.  He drinks what he wants, and then throws it.  I try to interfere when I see it coming so that it doesn't wind up on the floor, but sometimes I'm just not quick enough!  Is it just me???

I try and put it in the cupholder on the tray, but he won't leave it there!  I have to put it on the table and hand it to him when he grunts for it.  When he doesn't want it, he doesn't want it on his tray either...he keeps trying to knock it down! 

When does this end???

Well kara, I feel your pain...I have no idea what the answer is but my lo threw his FULL cup of milk in a restaurant and the lid flew off, it went everywhere!!!!!!...I have learnt my lesson- no cups in restaurants!  :)

Ummm...we still have to be a little cautious at 2 years old here! My spirited LO has quite an arm!!

DD is 14 m/o and also throws the cup. She's always doing it when she's done.

Glad to know I'm not alone...my LO is just rough!  He pushes things away and throws things when he doesn't want them anymore.

Sane here... And not just the cup, but anything and everything on the tray. Every time he does it I sign 'all done' and say "all done mommy" but so far, no dice.  I do a lot of floor cleaning :P

When my DS used to do this (I can't remember when he stopped) I just never, ever picked it up. When he was done with eating, he had to pick it up.
