My lo is 16 months and has a morning bottle and a night time bottle before bed. At what age do they just get one bottle before bed?

My ds is 27 months and he still has milk in the morning and at night - although he has it out of a cup rather than a bottle now. If I don't get ds's milk ready really quickly in the morning he gets very stroppy. He wakes up starving and I'm not going to start making breakfast at 6am  :P so he still has milk in the morning.

My doctor recently told me not to drop anymore milk feeds until he is over 2 - he has 6oz in the am and 8oz before bed.

I guess the question becomes whether to try and convert the am one to a sippy at some point.

Personally I am keeping the bottles for now as J doesn't have the best intake and he NEEDS the milk for growth etc.
