Welcome, Grants ;)

Had my 3rd appointment on thurs.  I had one very good day where tiredness was gone but it came back and i was sleepless unless I had sleeping pills.  Tested further and after calcium is treated, sugar allergy surfaced which didn't show at the 1st appointment.  She thinks that sugar caused me to be tired and sleepless.  I haven't had sugar the last 24 hours and I can have sugar now.  We'll see if I can sleep tonight and how I feel overall until the next appoint on Fri.

Not sure if anyone's still following.

I had 2 very good nights' sleep after the last treatment.  Insomnia was back but not as bad and gradually I was able to fall asleep faster.  Overall tiredness is still there but a bit less.  I think I pulled a muscle really deep on my right hand side and is still hurting.

Had my 4th appointment yesterday.  Sugar is cleared.  Vit B complex it was.  I wasn't feeling too tired except for a hunger attack last night around 9 and ordered fries (asked DH to walk outside to get them :D)  After eating them, I felt very happy. hehe

However since wed, i started to have symptoms of my infection (headache, oral ulcer, sore throat and very dry nose).  I might be allergic to sunlight/heat also.  Mentioned it to the therapist and she said she would test it next appointment which will be on Tues.

If you're also clearing yeast from your system in the process, yeast die-off can trigger symptoms that make you feel like you have the flu. It's called the Herxheimer Reaction and lasts 1-3 days, then clears up till another big die-off. Might be related?

Deb, thanks for the info.  According to my muscle test, I'm not allergic to yeast but to grains.  But I know what you mean though, there could be some withdrawal symptoms or even just clearing out toxins or long-term deficiency due to sensitivities/intolerances.  In the handbook, all kinds of emotions and sensations are possible and normal but some indicate other sensitivities rising (in my case, Sugar was one and I became totally insomniac).  Some indicate some emotions that need to be treated, too.

I know you're on Paleo diet and it's working well for u.  Would you be interested to read more about it?  I just received the books I ordered, quite fascinating but I haven't got too far.

The yeast die-off would be the yeast in your body that are no longer getting as much sugar/starch/carbs they would need to continue living and growing, so they die off. So it's not an allergic reaction to yeast per se, just a reaction of your body to having dead stuff in its gut for a while till it passes. (Gosh that does sound dreadful. :P)

Always interested to read more diet stuff! :)

I was only off sugar for 25 hours, is that long enough to starve yeast??

It's enough to make them protest! ;D Plus if you're also off grains, they're still getting less starch overall. The reaction usually took a few days for us to get though.

The reaction might also be your body withdrawing from something else it craved that you're cleansing out too tho.

yeah and cleansing out the toxins built up due to sensitivities/intolerance, so when the system is running alright again, the toxins are flowing out.

i'm not even cutting grains, i'm just not eating bread baked at home which is multigrain.  That's the only thing I eliminate since Jan.  I eat potatoes, pasta, rice daily.  I guess that's the beauty of naet, i don't really have to eliminate except for 25 hours after the treatment for what i got treated.  The 25 hrs after treating minerals will be hard, though.   I am not supposed to be in contact with metals and all minerals... so... should wear gloves and that will be in two weeks.  But just 25 hours...it's doable.

So how long do treatments go on for? How many might there be?

HUGS!

I'm going to wait a bit after the first initial 16 elements are cleared.  (I'm only allergic to 6 of those). Basically it's one treatment per item but i had an extra surfaced, sugar.  So all in all, theoretically it would be 7 plus one intial general treatment, so 8.  I'm not so allergic, I think but it's just that the symptoms are too much for normal day to day function.  Say if I only had skin rashes, I might not have bothered, but of course eczema could be very bad.

I just stumbled onto this. Very interesting.
DS2 is still very sensitive to dairy and soy. So I was interesting in maybe trying this, but there is only 1 person in my state who does this. 1. Figures.

What is the Paleo diet?

Just from reading some of the FAILSAFE diet I have figured out that I am probably sensitive to some stuff as well because I get really bad eczema sometimes.

Hey Sherry Lynn.  I'm sorry to hear about the allergies.  But good to see you!  There are 3 in the city where I live and the one closest to me is the appointed lead instructor for the country, hehe and the cheapest :P

btw, this is not a diet, it's a treatment that removes the sensitivities.  But of course, until you're cleared from your allergies, it's wise to eliminate the problematic foods/substances.

Deb has a thread on Paleo diet, in the healthy living board.

oh my!!!! I wanna scream!!!  I just read about self muscle testing and I got it right away!!!  So I can test myself and make sure that I don't eat things I have a sensitivity to :D   I see huge light at the end of the tunnel now...  guess what?  I have a sensitivity towards tulips, kaffir lilies but not ficus, sensitivity indeed to our home baked bread, my normal tea as well (:() but not camille nor coffee!!!  :D
