DS used to yawn really early too but when I followed his yawn cues I seemed to always get 45min.s

Try putting her down earlier as you said, otherwise try extending but keeping the A time really mellow so she isn't overstimulated-I know 'try that with a spirited toddler around' but maybe you could keep them separate for those last 20 min or so? dvd for Henry while Martha's in a different room??

thanks kayra- good idea. i guess os may be a problem. i tend to put her under her play gym while i sort his bfast etc so guess it could just all be too much for her.

Those playmats are deadly OS when they are so wee still! I used to let DD use hers at the beginning of her A time, and for no more than 5-7 minutes.. otherwise, she would get OS.
