We were still on 2 BFs a day at 1 but moved to cows milk at 1 YO as a drink with meals.  So long as he's eating a good balanced diet cows milk is fine as a drink over 1.

What Shiv said!

Toddler milk is really not necessary despite what they say on the TV ;) and costs waaaay more than cow's milk. Formula companies can't advertise their first milks which is one reason they have developed goodnight milks, toddler milks etc for babies over 6 months. Formula is also quite filling and as milk isn't a food once they hit 1 they don't need to be filled up on it. From 1 year they only need around 14 - 16oz of dairy and that can include the milk in foods.

HTH!

Thank you sooooooooooooooooooooo much!!!!!!  :)
He's a great eater and loves cheese and yoghurt so he should easily get 14oz.
