Hello Roselyn,

My dd is 5 months and is awake anywhere from 1hr 45 to 3hr and will nap anywhere from 20mins to 2 hrs depending on whether her very noisy brother wakes her up  ::)

The general guidelines are
6 months old:
Night: 12 hours;
Day: 2.25 hours - 2 naps, 1 of 1 hour and 1 of 1.25 hours;
Total: 14.5 hours

At 5 months my DD extended her awake time and dropped her cat nap as her naps were getting shorter and she was fighting them. She generally wakes at 7am naps and 9.30am&2pm and bed at 7pm. HEr awake time is 2.5hrs before AM nap, 3hrs before PM nap and 3.5hrs before bed. Her naps are 1.30mins to 1.45mins long.
