just wanted to share this with anyone whose child is still drinking milk in the night, and the parents are wondering "when will they ever sleep through?"
My daughter always wanted milk in the night till she was 11 months old. i tried offering water instead, watering down the milk and not offering anything, but nothing did the trick.
then we moved house and she had her own room. Perhaps this was just a coincidence, but a week later, she slept through for the first time and didnt have her milk. i thought it was a one off, so when she woke the next night i offered her milk and she refused it.and since then i have not given her milk once, even when she has been awake with teething.
So, be patient, and eventually some babies just decide on their own that they have had enough of the night feeds.
