18 month old sleeping in..should I wake him up?
« on: October 26, 2014, 12:13:03 pm »
My riddle of course has been giving me issues to fall asleep at night. The earliest I can put him I his crib is 715 and sometimes it 8:-5 and he has just falling alseep.he just lays there tossing and turning trying to fall asleep. His day looks like this 630am wake up
10:30/11 nap which is usually 2 hours and then sleepy time which can range from 730-815pm . Depending how low long he takes to fall asleep..
Well that has been 1 issue...

This weekend on Friday he wouldn't fall asleep til 9 bc grandma have him late nap til 330 causing him to wake up Saturday morning at 8 am and had only 45 min nap. So I tried to put him to bed early and he fell asleep at 830 n woke up today at 8 am. I need to get him back on reg schedule bc work week begins again. Should I put him to bed reg time..? Give h short nap?

Thank u all!!

I would personally cap the nap to get back on track & to limit BT resistance, rather than wake earlier in the morning (as night sleep is more restorative) - but others might do it differently.

If he has to be up at 6:30 I would shorten the nap and pull bedtime earlier.
