Watermelon and the ice cube method
« on: June 21, 2006, 17:19:46 pm »
I have a bunch of watermelon left over from Father's Day, and I was wondering if I could grind it up and freeze it for Gage. It is "seedless", but still has the white seeds. Do I have to pick out all of those seeds? I do have the Super Baby Food book, but it is kind of unclear (at least to me) as to if it will be okay ground up for cubes. I do have some pineapple juice I plan to add to the mix.

Alice, I tray freeze watermelon for finger food.  I'm sure you can puree also, will be very watery

Hi Rachel. Do you pick out all of the seeds?
