Post by: Sylvia. on November 14, 2005, 05:22:16 am
dd slept till 7.30ish this morning, 1 hour longer than normal, therefore i put her down for her nap about 50 minutes later than normal today it was 10.20 nornally 9.30, dd didn't wake until 1pm this was a long nap, it is now 4.20 pm should i put her down normally she would nap about 2.30-3pm, if i do she won't go to bed until really late,

Put her down when she is tired. You will have a very cranky dd if you try to put her down when she is not ready.

IMO - at this age i would not let my dd sleep so long in the am or for her first nap for the very reason you posted.  It turns out that 2nd nap is too late but bed time is too far away.
