two cluster feeds into one...
« on: November 30, 2010, 08:14:10 am »
Hi all.
My DS will be 8 weeks this week, and I know Tracy recommended turning the two cluster feeds into one. Just wondering how I implement this. He usually feeds around 7/10/1/4..and then 6/630 or sometimes even 7.  Im supposed to turn the 4pm and 6pm feeds into one right.. at 530ish? My question is, is he supposed to go from 1 pm until 530 pm? and then put him down until the dream feed after that? Any input would be appreciated! Thanks. =)

Keep the feeds you are doing, clusters are usually at 6 and 8 so a feed at 4 and then 6.30/7 isn't  a cluster it's a normal feed pattern. If you were doing a feed at 4pm, then 6pm, then 8pm you would combine the 6pm and 8pm feed into a 7pm feed so it would be 3 hours from the 4pm to 7pm bedtime feed.

HTH!
