Title: cheese
Post by: mella on March 10, 2008, 19:06:05 pm
Just wondering if anyone has tried their LO's that are milk/soya intolerant on cheese from sheep's milk and if they can tolerate it. I don't want to try goats milk cheese as I've read that the protein is very similar to cows and theres a good chance they will react to it to (is that correct?)

It is correct that the protein in goats milk produce is very similar to the protein in cows milk produce. I have tried sheeps milk yogurt with my son and he reacted badly to it, however it does not mean your lo will. If you want to try it then I suggest starting with a ery small amount and build it up slowly if no reaction when first introduced.
