Yes I do think set nap and set BT would be helpful now. Most threads about sleep going off track around 1yo tend to lead to set naps and set BTs to resolve it IME. It's also what my DS needed as he moved to the toddler board (I'll ask someone to move you over to toddler sleep too
I felt really weird when mine was moved to toddler sleep, it feels like a real mile stone!!)
So, given your current routine, the before and after, my suggestion would be:
WU 7am (half hour earlier than previous routine but half hour later than your current 6.30 WU)
Set nap 12.30 - 2.30pm (this may need to be a bit later, 12.45 - 2.45 say but I'd start here)
Set BT 8pm
This offers an 11hr night but you are not setting WU time so really they are free to wake up later and still get a 12hr night if they choose to have it. If they consistently take longer than 11hr nights (ie when more mobile or after settling into this routine) then we can look at shifting the 'set' nap and 'set' BT accordingly. When nap and BT are 'set' it doesn’t mean it never ever changes, it just doesn't change daily so both you and the boys can settle into a predictable routine which just tweaks when needed.
The first couple of days moving to the set nap might be tricky, you will be asking them to stay up until 12.30 even though they woke at 6.30. If you want to do it over 2-3 days in 15 min increments that's fine, or else grit your teeth go in one move (it's only 30 mins), ready yourself for an OT WU during nap and resettle them, cross your fingers and give it a few days to settle in.
The slightly later nap should help to prevent that earlier WU time and move it later, as should the slightly later BT. In time they may need the nap moved a bit later again but you move the 'set time' for this. That may not happen for months, or it may happen relatively soon-ish, it doesn't always mean a later BT though, it will depend on how their nights are going.
I hope this helps.
