Title: Teething, breastfeeding, and night wakings
Post by: momma.bear on July 28, 2013, 20:31:59 pm
My DS is 10.5 months old and has nwings lately every 2 hours since he's teething. He's never been a good sleeper, but we were down to only 1-2 NWings and 1-2 breastfeeds during the night, but it's all gone down hill since he's been getting teeth the past few weeks. The only thing that settles him is nursing him... it seems to soothe him. I don't mind, but I'm just wondering how to tackle this once he's a year and still getting more teeth and I'm no longer nursing. Anyone else been there?

Hugs. My ds2 is teething terribly and nights have gone to pot too!
What teeth are coming? - ours are top front, adm really bothered my first LO too. Molars and canines also cause a lot of trouble ;)

If found the other teeth were 'less' of an issue, and certainly once my first was 1 he settled down a bit YK?
I would try your best to remain consistent - when you can, ie pd awake, settle in cot if you can. Keep track of feeds...and if things are the same with no teeth in a few weeks revisit if it's teeth or a prop starting.

Are you medicating? X
