I'm starting to realise (it's taken me a while!) that it's not worth worrying about this stuff because one week they are scoffing their faces on anything and the next week all they will eat is yoghurt. From what I have read, this goes on well into the early teenage years, like when your daughter comes home and announces she will is now vegetarian and that you need to adjust your cooking to accommodate her moral choice (until further notice ).
So here I sit, eating the lovely sweet potato and provoletta fritatta (made with the eggs from nonna and nonno's chooks) that was meant for dd, and might I say, it's delicious! Thanks darlin'! It'll keep for tomorrow too! I won't be finishing her bottle of formula though! I don't blame her for not wanting that!
