Just thought I'd post the "recipe" for our 6 mo DS's favorite breakfast. He's actually tried to stick his face in the bowl, to get it down his throat faster!
It isn't really a recipe, but I know it helps to see what other moms are feeding their LOs, especially when you're in a food rut. And this is just a less chunky version of something I eat!
Cinnamon Apple Oatmeal:
2-3 Tbs organic apple sauce
2-3 Tbs organic infant oatmeal
sprinkle of cinnamon
pinch of ground flax seeds (for healthy fats)
thin with preferred milk or apple juice
- serve warm -
All measurements are very approximate - I pretty much just dump it together until it looks good.
