8 week old easy schedule

I have no idea what im doing wrong!!  I bf and was feeding on demand.  That was wearing me out so the Dr suggested an every 2 hour schedule in which she resisted.  I then ran across the whisperer book at the library and tried the 3-hr easy schedule to the T.  Everything was great on the first day until it was time to go to bed at night.  She woke up at 1:05, 2:45 and 5:15!!!  What am i doing wrong???

 What went wrong at bedtime? I'm not sure what you're asking...was bed time the issue? The nightwakings? The 3 hour feeds?

Getting her to bed is not the problem.  She wakes up like every 2-3hrs!!  The good thing is that she went from on demand feeding to every 2 hours.  Now because of the e.a.s.y schedule, she is on a 3hr feed schedule and its going great!!!  At night, she seems to be hungry every 2 hours OR she is still associating night sleep with eating.  Who knows?!?!  I sure dont know!!  Im just taking it one day at a time.

When you feed her during the day, does she eat enough? Is she okay during and after a feed?

At 8 weeks, I'm not sure she's waking out of habit. They could still be very young to make that association and, most likely, due to hunger.

*hugs* You sound tired. Are you getting some breaks? Does dh do a bottle at night?
