Hi everyone - lots to say!
Bec - Yay for the night sleep
and enjoy your camping. We left Katie for one night with my parents in the beginning of September to go to a wedding. It was probably way more traumatic for me than her, but she did fine. It was very hard for me (especially as the night wore on and I continued drinking with my college friends...) but eventually my mom said -- she's fine, don't worry about it, don't call us until tomorrow, have fun -- she could probably tell I was "enjoying" myself  - nine months of pregnancy + 7 months of breastfeeding = very little alcohol!
Andrea - Hope those feet feel better!
Naomi - fingers crossed for the job!
Micky - Hooray for getting out - and I hate seeing little ones crying too when I'm out - when we flew back from Puerto Rico, there was a tiny baby in the front of the plane who cried for the first 45 min or so - poor LO, probably had no idea what was going on, poor parents too!
Hayley - LOVE the pic!
Judy - I was reading your posts about how touchy your girls are and thinking about how great it is that they'll always have each other to related to - I bet that will help them in the long run. Wow, do you have your hands full though.
Karen - good luck going back to work!...we'll be here for support.
Richelle - Congrats on not going back to smoking - DH is working on that too, not an easy thing. It seems to be much harder to find time to exercise now - I used to just go to the gym every day and now I've got Katie to contend with.
Traci - My Exersaucer has the same warning - I think it has to do with them launching themselves out or climbing out - however, Katie is already somewhat flat footed and we're on the last notch and I don't see any signs of her flying out, so I'm not going to worry about it. I wonder if that's the kind of thing that one kid did once and now they have to put the warning on all of them...
As for us, we're having a strange morning. DH got up early and accidentally work Katie up (his clothes are in her room, so there's not much to do about that), so he brought her back to our room and put her in bed with me  and she and I fell asleep...until 9:30   she must have been tired! And the she went down for a nap again at 11:15. Maybe she's finally catching up on her sleep from our vacation. I think she just likes to snuggle in bed though. I won't bring her there unless it's technically "morning" - as in after about 6:30 or so and she's upset and still needs to sleep, but wow is it tempting to do it whenever she's up in the middle of the night - I know I'd regret it later though...
Anyway, enough rambling from me - here's our Halloween preview. Sunday is better for me than Monday for chat, but either should be ok as long as it's after 8 on the east coast.
