Is there anything you can do that would make it so he couldn't?  Can the matress be lowered any further?  I have seen these netting things that some people use  :-\   

Moving to a cot in my opinion is more about maturity than age but 11 months seems really young.  You must have a little athlete on your hands  :)

My DS did the same thing around that age.  ::)  I never did figure out how. We ended up taking the cot apart and drilling new holes for the bottom. The mattress was much lower then, and there was no way in heck he was going anywhere.  ;)

Hey, good idea Jessica! I will have to keep that in mind.  I won't pull it out just yet as DH will think it needs done right away.  ::)  Any chance to get out the power tools  ::) ::) ::) :P

I agree...if you're willing to drill new holes.. do it!

The longer you can keep them contained the better...beds (especially with a really young one!) bring on whole other issues.

But safety first!

thanks alot, drilling holes in the cot to make it lower sounds fantastic, great idea.
