Title: Anyone set a bedtime hour for under 3 mth old baby?

As the title says, Has anyone set a routine for a baby under 3 mths? Ihave a spirited 2 yr old and an angel 10 week old and by the time the evening comes around I am desparate for YOU time, up until dream feed.  Both of my children go down at 7/7.30pm each evening. Now my day looks like this
7am _E
activity
8am - S

9am -E
activity
10am -S

12pm -E
activity
1pm -S

3pm -E
Activity
4pm -sleep

Start of evening-
5pm _ E
activity
EAT again
actvity (quite)
6pm Bath
cuddle
6.30/ 7pm BED
This part of the day is tough, thoughby this point has had around
 7 hours sleep in the day

Looks good to me :)

You're moving toward 10-12 hour nights, which is good, something you'll want to stick with for a long time to come. If you're having night wakings for feedings,  that's normal for this age. You may have up to 2 a night.

If you like you can move bedtime back to 6-6:30, if it fits into the household schedule. It might help with the overtired phase of the evening.

But frankly, it looks like you're doing great!!

Sonia thanks for the adivice. I was very tempted to move her bedtime back to 8pm. I think that will mean too many naps in the day though, so I may put her bedtime back to 6.30 6.45pm depeding on my  almost 3 year old
