Title: Rolling over trouble
Post by: frasersmummy on December 02, 2005, 10:31:52 am
Can anyone please advise? My Ds is 6m old and has suddenly prefected the art of rolling over. Unfortunately when he's in his cot it looks like he's a crocodile doing a death roll. He'll spin around and this is disturbing his calm time before sleeping. I tried using pillows  down his sides but he just pulls them out and over his head so not a good move. If i lay him down on his front he'll turn and face the wrong way in his cot and cry because he can't get to sleep. Until he learnt to roll he was really good at going to sleep on his own but now i don't know what to do!! Any advice would be appreciated, thank you xx
PS I have seen some support things that go either side of the baby to stop them rolling, do they work or should i not try to stop what comes naturally?, thank you all xx

hi there,

i think for the most part you have to ride it out.  see the responses here:

stinks, but once he gets used to his new skills it will be better.   :D
