Hi,
I have a 4.5 month old and he just seems to eat non-stop. My doctor told me to start him on solids 2 weeks ago as he was drinking 8 oz at every feed and only lasting 3-4 hours at night. He has taken to solids really really well and now eats lunch (1 cube or fruit) and dinner (1 cube of veg + 3 tsp rice), in addition to 5 bottles a day. He still drinks 7-8 oz at every feed too. He just doesn't seem like he can get enough!
I am not sure if I should increase how much he eats at this stage? I feel like he is already getting a fair amount of solids and his milk intake is the same as before he went on solids. At what point should I increase the 1 cube at lunch and dinner to 2 cubes?

If he's hungry, I'd say let him eat!
At 4 months, my ds had already had rice mixed into his formula for every bottle (at the doctor's orders - reflux) but was also consuming an outrageous amounts of formula, and having 2 meals of baby food.
I think they have a growth spurt somewhere around this age too.
