Baby can't get to sleep without feeding
« on: June 22, 2014, 15:45:56 pm »
Hi Everyone,

I have a baby 4 weeks old, and she has never felt asleep on her own, only during feeding. If she hasn't got asleep while feeding, she will certanly stay awake till the next feeding. We are supposed to put her in her crib on first sign of tiredness (and we tried several times), but she will only cry on these occasions.

Please help me, what can I do to teach her to sleep alone?

Thanks,
Magdi

I would just do whatever you need to do at this age to help her sleep. You have plenty of time for sleep training later on and these tiny ones get OT so easily. Maybe have a look here: Getting started - how I survived the first 3 months
Has he got white noise and a swaddle and blacked out room?
