exhausted of shhh-ing? burn a cd!
« on: August 29, 2014, 18:23:06 pm »
I'm weaning 16weeks lo from white noise which was really working great…but of course it's just a prop, esp since lo needs to learn to share bedroom with 28months older sister who uses to "listen" to Mozart in her sleep.
Well I'm working hard these days and shhhing gets me so tired and head aching, so I recorded myself shhhing and burned a cd so I just have to go to the bedroom, switch from Mozart to shh-cd, and pat, and when she settles I put back Mozart and shhh for a little before exiting the room.
 ;) ;) ;)

well, if I were you I would just keep it as it is such a great tool. But if you want to use it at a lower and lower volume either burn a CD or download white noise or just turn a fan to the  wall then that works too. Any particular reason for cutting it out? DD is 2.5 and DS 5.5 and they have white noise to cut down on the tiptoeing around the house. Lots of LOs just keep it.
