Dr. Brown, microwave sterilizer?
« on: July 17, 2006, 14:10:43 pm »
HI!  Just a quick question.

Does anyone know if Dr. Brown bottles and such can go in the microwave sterilizer?  It's says it's okay to put in the dishwasher, but doesn't mention microwave.  Also, if you put them on the top rack of the diswasher ( like it says), how do you secure the insert parts?
THanks!

I've been using playtex dropins and I'm happy with them except I can't seem to find the right speed nipple ( ones too fast, the other's too slow)  I thought I'd try Dr. Browns

I use Dr Brown's and I have sterilized them in the mircowave several times but I usually put them in the dishwasher on "normal wash with Sterilization" cycle.  I use the dishwasher holders for baby accessories.  They have them at Target, Walmart, Babies R Us, etc...found with the all the bottles and feeding stuff usually.  We have 2 of these since Dr Brown's has so many parts.

Okay, thanks for the help! We don't always run the dishwasher every night, so I may need to invest in more bottles.  I just want to try them out first.

I don't have a sterilizer, but I boil the bottles and all of their parts.
BTW, we LOVE the Dr. Browns bottles!!!
