here in the u.k our meal times are as follows :-
 breakfast........lunch/dinner time.........tea time.........supper.
so if you are introducing a new food it is best to introduce at dinner time and not tea time .  tea time is too close to bed

Ryans mum/Bridget -  I was advised by my HV to feed at the hungries ppoint of the day for him, when I say tea time is was no later then 1700 after his 3rd bottle.  I think it depends on how hungry your LO is at times of the day. initially my HV suggested breakfast to start new foods. I said no way it takes him to take a bottle. I am from the UK  ;)

I have ben giving breakfast but actually ds is much hungrier as the day gooes on. in fact his 7pm and DF bottles are the best he eats!!! DF has got earlier and earlier cos he was waking up all evening and now I think it was prob cos he was hungry-am hoping solds will help with this....maybe I will try introducing new foods at lunch/dinner time or tea time but not too close to bedtime.
Thank you so much for all the advice, no doubt I will be back againm with more questions as the advennture progresses! xxx ;D

His 7pm and d/feed may be easier becasue he is more relax and isn't so distracted when feeding.
