What I have been advised by the lactation consultant at the hospital is to pump after a feed, that way, you will start increasing your milk supply. This will give you more milk to consistently be able to pump after the feed, as long as you pump at the same time everyday. The first few days you won't get too much, but it will gradually increase.
I dont' see any problem with wanting to get out. My ds is only 4 months and I do!!
Perhaps have someone else give the bottle, because babies are smart and would rather nurse than take a bottle for themost part, so if you aren't around, it may be easier. Is DH home for the a.m. feed? Maybe that would be a good time. I know I can't give ds a bottle and he takes one like a champ from dh.
Hope this helps.
