I agree to just give her a utensil at every meal and let her experiment with it. Dd is also just over 2 and will use a utensil for awhile, but then give in to the fingers. Or even use the fingers to put the food onto the fork/spoon and help move it to her mouth and then push the food into her mouth so she doesn't drop it. It's really just letting them practice as much as possible and see you demonstrating when you eat. I wouldn't push it necessarily and I would only feed dc if they're not eating on their own, even if it's with their hands. HTH
