17 month old, still bedtime bottle?
« on: January 02, 2013, 22:13:49 pm »
Just wondering if I still need to be giving Levi a bedtime bottle at this age? hes still dairy intolerant so cant give him normal milk and he has a slight excma reaction to soy still, plus he just hates the taste of any other kind of milk. he can handle some small dairy amounts like a bit of cheese but not much else.

You don't need to give him a bottle at bedtime :)  That said, I would expect a bedtime snack of some sort would be a good idea - maybe a banana and some of his formula in a sippy?

If you think he still needs it for comfort and to help him settle, I would leave it.  My DD still has a BT bottle at 26 months!

Hi Jo,

Have you tried him on A2 milk? If L is MPI, it could be ok for him. My MPI DS is getting on really well with it, and I don't have to give him his prescription formula anymore  :)

He still gets a sippy of milk before toothbrushing and BT at 27mo, as I can't give him cheese or yoghurt yet.
