Please clarify - Activity time for 5 week old
« on: September 05, 2007, 19:19:44 pm »
Help!  Our little guy is 5 weeks old and doesn't seem to be able to handle any activity time beyond feeding, pottying (we are trying elimination communication with him) and diapering.  If I let him stay awake beyond that we end up in a complete meltdown situation when I try to get him to sleep.  Generally feeding, pottying, diapering takes between 45mins and 1 hour.  Is this enough activity for this age?  Should I be worried that he is not developing due to lack of activity time?

Thanks for the clarification...it is definitely a load off not to worry about that and just get the little guy to sleep!  For information on elimination communication or infant potty training check out http://www.diaperfreebaby.org/.
