Cluster Feed Question
« on: November 18, 2014, 20:12:12 pm »
My DS is 4 weeks old, and he eats anywhere between 2.5-4 oz per feed, depending on his "mood".
My question is about the Cluster Feed - he is on 3 hour easy and is doing well on most days, as he has some off days.
During the cluster feed, am i suppose to feed him 2.5-4 oz? then again at the second CF? and then DF??
Or should it be a small amount at each CF and then the full amount at the DF?
TIA :)

As far as I understand it should be as much as he wants at each feed, so yes I'd offer a full feed each time and see what he takes.  If you find after a while he won't take the DF, then you could either reduce the cluster fed amounts or drop one of them.
