I can't decide whether I should concentrate on capping or pushing forward first nap to try to get one decent nap. Or push out second A time.
I think looking back at the last 9 months I should've been looking at EASY routines for the next age up.
Today is a v typical day
A 5.30 (wouldn't mind this if nights were good)
S 8.45-9.15 (he has always wanted to do this nap 3 hrs after getting up and a long time it's been hard to avoid due to school run).
S 12-45-1.15
BT 6.30 (if earlier he wakes before 5)
If we are in the pushchair he might do long second nap.
Wakes at least twice a night. Feeds max twice a night. Breastfed.

Is your LO an independent sleeper?
Usually 30 min naps indicate overtiredness. I wouldn't really want to suggest doing his first nap any earlier in the day as that will almost certainly encourage the early wake up time, but I might consider actually reducing his second A time (rather than increasing) to more like 3h to see if you can get a longer nap.
What do you think?

Yes ill look at this second A time. The nap length varies 30-45 mins so te OT/UT thing is hard to decipher. If its earlier its a long old wait til bedtime if he still wakes early - leap of faith!!!
Tonight He's gone to bed and not woken after 45 mins which he has done 99% of the time since tiny. Interesting!

You could always do a third nap (APOP if needed) and a late BT in an attempt to bump that wakeup time later? Just as a one off? Risky but may work.
