just wondering if anyone knows the correct age to introduce pineapple at?

Hiya, not sure about the correct age but our 16 month old got introduced to the fresh stuff on the weekend and she really loves it! So that brings the total number of fresh fruits she will willing eat to 2  ???

Since it's citrus I believe the general rule of thumb is close to 12 months.  However, I inadvertenly gave some to my dd around 8.5/9 months - she LOVED it (still does) and was fine.  US is a little more conservative - don't know where you are from?    BTW - love your avatar pic....CUTE!

Two Mummies - if she liked the pineapple, maybe she'll like oranges, tangerines, or pink grapefruit?  Just gave my dd some grapefruit tonight for the first time and she was very impressed.  ;D  But she eats just about everything....lol.  Good luck!

According to Super Baby Food 9 months.  This book seems to be really cautious about food introductions.

We gave it at about 10 months, I think. It must have been around then as it was when the warm weather set in.lol. He loved it and was fine with it. Give it a try!

yeah, i have Super Baby food...nine months.

ill probably introduce it nearer the ninth month.

just wondered what everyone else had done. ;)
