should i start the dream feed?
« on: October 20, 2005, 15:55:18 pm »
My daughter is 14 wks old tomorrow and aready sleeps through the night. I have started the easy routine to help improve her naps during the day.She feeds approx at 7am, 10:30am, 2pm, 5pm and 7:30pm. She is normally in bed and asleep by 8:30/9pm. Should i leave it as it? Or do i need to start the dream feed?!! Any help/advice greatly recieved. Thank you.

Hi,

My son is 14 weeks old and I have never had to dream feed him and he sleeps through the night.

His schedule is as follows:-

7:00am - 8oz - drinks about 7oz of that
11:00am - 8oz - usually finishes this bottle
15:00pm - 8oz - usually finishes this bottle
19:00pm - 8oz - usually finishes this bottle
Bed by 19:30pm.

I have recently introduced him to 1tsp of baby rice which he thoroughly enjoys.

Hope this information helps.

Hi Amelias mum,

If amelia is sleeping through the night, why would you want to introduce the dream feed?? Make the most of your evening, why interupt it!! :)

If she's sleeping through...absolutely no reason too.  They would only be calories you'd have to switch to daytime calories later on.  :D
