My baby has gone of milk totally
« on: March 15, 2007, 02:04:29 am »
My 9mth old will not drink milk. This has gone on from 7mths.We are now picking her up inthe middle of her naps and feeding her thru a medicine syringe.. she hates it...but I have no choice. right now I manage to feed her 4 oz 3 times a day thru a syringe and try to add some formula to her solids She likes yogurt ..she has it as her snack. The docs are no help[Says she is healthy]. Are there any flavorings I can add to disguise the taste of milk.
Can any one suggest any tricks..I dont know how long I can syringe feed her.

Are you giving her milk, formula, or breast milk?  Do you offer it in a bottle or sippy cup?  I am not sure flavorings are good for a 9 month old becuase they are chocolate or strawberry usually. :-\

Is it the milk or the bottle she is refusing? Does she refuse the bottle with another liquid in it? Does she take a sippy cup? If you can explain further we many be able to help...
