Any ideas for sloppy food-my lo has mouth ulcers
« on: November 09, 2007, 16:46:33 pm »
My dd has a viral infection and has mouth and throat ulcers.  For the last 4 days she is only drinking bottles with milk and will only eat the odd tub of yogurt, but cries every time she swallows  :(  I have tried everything and have run out of ideas- anybody got ideas what I can offer her..

Oh Elmarie  :(  that's awful! Poor sweetie. I'd stick with stuff like oatmeal or bananas, that's not acidic at all and easy to swallow.

dessert (fruit flavoured) tofu, would give some protein if you're worried about that.  It's very smooth, and also very yummy.
