Using different formulas at one time
« on: October 28, 2005, 19:52:34 pm »
Does anyone know if it is okay to use different brands of formulas at one time as long as they are the same sort (soy, etc.).  I get so many coupons for "buy one get one free" for various typs of formulas.

When I was travelling in America I was using three different formulas at once. Do try it out though to make sure it does agree with your little one but to be honest I think they are all pretty much the same.

My ped said you could mix formulas but you should introduce them slowly i.e. substitute one scoop for another, as far as swapping and changing on  regular occasions I personally don't think it's that good an idea.  I changed formula 4 times once was sticking to the same type (LF) but different brands and I noticed that it still took some time to adjust on DS part.
