Just went from the first carry seat to the next one up. We bought the Graco something rather and it is still rear-facing. DD is about 20 lbs. My concern is her neck when asleep while in the seat. I caught a glimpse of her today and to my horror her neck is almost 90 degrees forward flexed!!! That was just awful to see. Does anyone know of a way to correct this while still having the seat rear-facing, which I would prefer as long as possible? We have a towel rolled up under the seat to get the right angle, so I don't think there's more we can do on that end. Help anyone?

We noticed this with DS, and we put a rolled up small blanket under his chin and to the side of his face and this did help to prevent his neck from falling forward when he was asleep.

Do you have the seat reclined all the way? Is there somewhere you can take it to get checked? It almost does sound like it's not back far enough. They also do sell things similar to what Tom Tom's mum suggested at stores like Babies R Us that support LO's necks when in the car seat.

I forgot about those - I have seen them there. ;D
I do agree, you need to check tha the seat is reclinec all the way back.

Carter's sells what is called a neck support. It is like a half donut that you can put under his chin so that it keeps it in place while you are driving and he is sleeping. I bought one in the discount store called Ross (in USA) for only $2.99
