Sooo i know there is a few posts on this subject but thought instead of hi jacking someone elses i would start my own.
My lo used to have a good morning nap anywhere from 1hr to 2 hrs, sometimes with some re settling most of time not but for the past three weeks will not sleep longer than 45mins! She sleeps 7-7.30 waking 1/2 times for feeds over night so is it possible shes just not tired during the day? Ive always cuddled her till drowsy then put her in cot and ssh pat if needed..she is bf
Our typical EASY is:
7.30 wake and feed
9.00 take into room read book gets drowsy
9.15 asleep by this time
10.00 wake
Try and resettle for another 30/40mins
11.00 feed
12.15/12.30 sleep
13.15/13.30 wake
14.30 feed
15.30 sleep
16.15 wake
17.00 feed
18.15 feed
19.00 sleep
I find if i dont get her to have atleast 4 catnaps she is really overtired by bedtime and has a restless night sleep - this is easy when im in the house all day but if i wanna pop out somewhere im screwed cause she dosnt sleep in the pram really (wayyy too much to look at!) and not really in the car unless its a long trip so i try to go out during her awake times but then she just wont sleep longer when i get home argh!
Do you think she needs to be awake longer inbetween? Or is it just the 4 month growth spurt and it will all click soon?!
