James is 9 months old now, 3 meals of solids a day, bf 5/6 times a day. The past 2 months or so, he had really spread out his pooping, only going every 3/4 days -- not constipated (poops weren't hard and it wasn't bothering him at all), but crazy huge amounts of poop when he finally did go (ah, the joys of babies, poop conversations galore!). Anyway, I've been giving him avocados for breakfast the past week or so and he's suddenly started pooping every day. I think it's the avocados since we haven't changed anything else....does that make sense? I know avocados are loaded with good fat -- but I've never heard of good fats regulating poops -- so what's in them that's helping him poop every day? Because TBH, I greatly prefer changing one poopy diaper every day to having to practically bathe my child in wipes (he would never go when we were home...) and changing his entire outfit every few days. LOL, does this even make sense to anyone but me? I feel like I'm totally rambling...
