burping
« on: December 27, 2006, 14:23:54 pm »
My Lo is 9 months old and when she was an infant had a lot of gas and cried a lot.
I have noticed lately she will wake up in the middle of the night or will go through spells in the morning or just different times of the day where she is real whiny and fussy and I'll hear little burps "sort of like a hiccup burp" here and there. Usually a good burp will make her feel better but these sessions take a long time. I try to burp her myself but that doesn't always help and I can't get any out of her. Anyone else go through this? She is pretty much on bottles only. She is fussy and not really into solids yet. She was at one time but stopped. I have another forum for that. She has also had 6 ear infections so far.

Have you tried using gripe water? It worked well most times for my kids.

I am not sure where abouts you are, but in the UK we used infacol.

This helped all the little air bubbles form into bigger air bubbles which made it easier for your lo to burp out.
