No it's something I googled when we couldn't figure out why after the last set of tests she never reacted. We were dumbfounded that she tested negative to this past test but I didn't bother looking and just happened to notice it the other night. I did some reading and came across food patch tests to check for a delayed reaction and I'm going to ask for these now. I've been a lot more skeptical of allergy testing since speaking with another gp who feels that parents usually know more than these tests which often give false negatives. So glad I took pics to show him. He's really a great allergist and I'm a bit surprised he didn't mention it, though when he diagnosed her with FPIES, I wonder if delayed reactions wouldn't even be on his radar because FPIES is food intolerances that usually don't show up on tests.
