3.5 hour easy
« on: March 03, 2007, 20:17:48 pm »
I have a question...I posted a while ago, as my baby was 9 weeks old and on a 4 our easy. It wasn't working for him and everyone suggested we switch to a 3 or 3.5 hours easy. So right now hes on a 3.5 hour easy, that goes like this...

E   6 am
A   6:20
S   7-7:15
E   9:30
A   9:45
S  11
E  1
A  1:20
S  2:20-2:30
E  4:30
A  4:45
S  5:30-5:45
E  6:30 - 7 small feed
A  7:20
S 7:45ish
E 10:30 ish
E 2:30 ish

The problem is, on a 4 hour easy he was downing 5 ounce bottles every four hours...and now he's averaging 3 or 4 ounce bottles every feed I'm worried he's not getting enough. Any suggestions?

If you are feeding more frequently he will take less per feed.  that's totally normal.  just be guided by him, if he's taking what he needs and not draining those bottles and seems happy, then all is good!    once he starts draining, you know it's time to add another oz.

how is it going sleep wise?
