Hi Everyone,
I really hope I'm posting in the right place, I stumbled across this forum when desperately looking for a way to get my baby back on track and boy I'm glad I did, I've been lurking for a few days and the wealth of information is amazing!
Basically I have a very active 8 month old girl who I adore and is generally speaking a happy little thing. We had a great routine, slept all night etc up until the last few months when mainly illness and teething threw it all out of the window and now I'm struggling to get back on track, although I love being a mummy I'm very very tired
I have a few questions and would really appreciate any help. Is it really possible to get a baby on Easy this late on? I'm aware I may need to stay at home for a while which is fine.
She is not a good napper at all, sometimes naps for 20 mins, sometimes 2 hours, and currently naps in her bouncer through the daytime, I have tried everything I can think of to get her to sleep in cot in daytime but she is not having it lol any tips on how to rectify this?
She also wakes several times a night, although is teething at the moment so obviously this won't help but sometimes I don't get her down at all until 10 at night, when ideally I would like her in bed by 7.30 so I can have a bit of me time back, there is a lot of tooing and throwing at bed time, most of the time I have to stroke her face to get her to sleep and that's after 45 mins of whining and rolling around in cot then she's normally up at 4am
Something Definately needs to change as mummy needs her sleep and sanity back. As I said any advice would be great or even a point in the right direction. I will try to take note of her day tomorrow so I can post it and you can have a look. If it makes any difference she takes 3 feeds per day of 8oz each, porridge made with formula and 3 meals x
